Dr. Kovach
Dr. J. Dane Kovach grew up on the east side of Charlotte, NC. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1991, a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1995 and his Master’s in Orthodontics in 1998.
Between his first and second years of dental school, he married his high school sweetheart, Kema. Together they opened a private practice orthodontics office in Mint Hill, NC in 1998. From 2006-2010, they and their four children served in the foreign mission field doing dentistry in Papua New Guinea. It was during this time that Dr. Robinson took over and continued to grow the Mint Hill practice.
Dr. Kovach and Kema recently added another child, and have settled back into life in Indian Trail, NC. Dr. Kovach is proud to reunite with Dr. Robinson in doing high quality orthodontics in the Mint Hill and Waxhaw areas. He presently serves as the Dental Director for Give Hope Global, Inc., a non-profit organization that serves orphans in western Haiti, where he returns several times a year to do short-term dental missions.
Dr. Kovach enjoys spending time with his active family, mountain biking, backpacking and truly finds joy in treating the orthodontic needs of his patients.
